Jill Madey MEd, MAc, LAc
Jill is a licensed acupuncturist with a master’s degree and doctorate training from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She is on the faculty at MUIH, in the acupuncture clinic, and has over 25 years experience in educating, advocating and the healing arts. With a passion for caring for life, Jill is dedicated to compassionately empowering, and companioning others in wellness, with vibrant warmth and a skillful touch.
Jill discovered the power of acupuncture while struggling with Lyme disease, and found it to be a life saving grace for her. She has since been driven to learn all she can about this fascinating medicine, so she may pass this wisdom and wellness along to others.
Jill is a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders, for trauma relief and recovery. Jill also provides volunteer care at Hospice of the Chesapeake, as well as serving as a workshop leader and trainer in the end of life care community. She’s also certified in Reiki, Palliative and Hospice Acupuncture and as an End of Life Doula.
Jill finds no higher honor than tending and serving in partnership with others in life and love.
